We want you to feel fairly treated. The headline:

- 14-day money-back guarantee after your first paid charge, if you've barely used the service.

- UK statutory rights always apply on top of these terms.
Your UK consumer rights
If you're a UK consumer (not buying for business use), the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you a 14-day "cooling off" period during which you can cancel and receive a full refund for most digital services.
Important nuance: that right is reduced or removed once digital content delivery has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right to cancel. By subscribing through Stripe Checkout and beginning to use the service, you give that consent and acknowledgement.
In practice we apply a more generous policy than the law strictly requires — see the next sections.
The 7-day free trial
When you start a Pro or Pro+ subscription, you get 7 days of full access before any payment is collected. You can cancel at any point during the trial and pay nothing.
We send a reminder email 3 days before the trial ends, so you don't get a surprise charge.
14-day refund after first charge
If your trial converts into a paid subscription and you change your mind, we offer a 14-day full refund on that first charge — provided you haven't substantially used the service in that window.
"Substantially used" means: the bulk of the value has already been delivered — for example, you've run more than 30 logged sessions inside the 14 days, or you've used a one-shot premium feature (e.g. exported a year of session data). In borderline cases we err on the user's side.
Refunds after 14 days
After the first 14 days, we don't issue refunds for the current billing period as a matter of course. You can cancel and you won't be charged again, but the period you've already paid for runs until its end.
Exceptions where we will refund even after 14 days:
- Service outage — sustained downtime that prevented you from using the app for more than 7 consecutive days.
- Material misrepresentation — if a feature we marketed materially doesn't work and we can't fix it within a reasonable time.
- Duplicate charges — always refunded immediately, no questions.
- Charges made after a cancellation request — also always refunded.
How cancellation works
You can cancel any time from the Billing dashboard → Stripe Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until that date.
If you want to cancel and stop access immediately (and request a pro-rata refund of unused days), email us — we'll consider these case by case.
App Store purchases
If you subscribed through the iOS App Store rather than the website, refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Apple's refund policy applies. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
We can't issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves, but we will support your request to Apple if it's something we'd refund on the web side.
When we may decline a refund
We reserve the right to decline a refund where:
- The request is made beyond the 14-day window and doesn't fit one of the listed exceptions.
- You've used the service substantially during the refund window (heavy session logging, large feature usage).
- The account has been suspended or banned for breach of our Terms of Service.
- The request appears to be fraudulent or part of a pattern of repeat subscribe-then-refund behaviour.
Where we decline, we'll explain why in writing. Your statutory rights remain unaffected — if you believe a decline isn't lawful, you can escalate to UK Trading Standards.

Refund request — [your email]. - Tell us briefly why you're asking. We don't need a detailed reason; one line is fine.
- We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Stripe and typically reach your card within 5–10 business days.
